<p>OTC public image Standard_Debian_9 will be discontinued on 28th of February 2022.</p>
<p>what does that mean?</p>
<p>public images will be no longer listed in OTC public image list</p>

<li>Standard_Debian_9_prev</li>
</ul>
<p>OTC internal package repositories preconfigured in Standard_Debian_9_latest images will be available until 30th of Juli 2022.<br />

<p>existing ECS installed with one of these images</p>

<li>can be reinstalled</li>

<p>A new ECS can still be installed with a discontinued image by using its image id directly.<br />
Using a discontinued image is without OTC support. </p>

<p>It is recommended to migrate existing ECS to Debian 11.</p>
<h3>Red Hat 6 and 7 infrastructure migration to RHUI v3</h3>

<li>The images will be disappear from the public images list but if you have the UUID of the image, you can still use those images</li>
<li>Use the images will caution as the repos will also be removed in the future.</li>

<p>Migrations are possible to <strong>Alma Linux 8</strong>, <strong>Rocky Linux 8</strong> or <strong>Oracle Linux 8</strong>. All of those images are already available within OTC.</p>

<li>Standard_CentOS_8 will finally be discontinued in 31st January 2022</li>
<li>OTC internal package repositories preconfigured in Standard_CentOS_8_latest images will be available until 30th of June 2022</li>
